Pair of matching mid century hand-carved acacia wood antelope (kudu or oryx?) from Kenya have a slim stylized form. Large, nicely done example includes a baby on one base. Carved wooden figurines were popular souvenirs for travelers in Africa in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, showing the adventurous spirit of the owner and fitting well with mid century modern decor. About 15” tall, 5” wide. Slight wear from age but no condition issues.
