Parts of an awesome wooden owl cuckoo clock from early post World War II. This is most of a vintage German animated motion cuckoo clock showing a large wooden horned owl with roly poly moving eyes and a detailed wood burned feathers design. Even non working, this is a charming piece of fairy tale cottage decor! A very unique piece that still has most of its parts!
This clock is not working. It is missing one eye and the driving weights. Still has the clock gears, pendulum, chain, hands, etc. See photos. I’m not positive about what all it would take to make it work, but I’m happy to send more photos or answer any questions!
It measures approximately 7 high, 4 1/4 wide and 2 1/4 deep (from the wall).
On the backside, the metal inner workings of the clock is marked with the following:
“UNADJUSTED
NO (0) JEWELS
MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY O. MITZKAT”
