This hard to find, no longer available color, is called Black Onyx or Shiny Black. Mini cocottes are usually found round & this one is oval with a lid. Perfect for serving individual portions & sharable side dishes,. This durable mini cocotte elevates the presentation of everything from french onion soup, pot pies, mac & cheese, lava cakes to fresh fruit crisps. This can also be a mini serving piece used to keep out for sugar or spices, relish, salsa or condiments! Note: It is very common for LC stoneware, directly from factory, to come with small imperfections such as minor glazing flaws & or pin holes. Please see the last photo for the area I noticed on the white area of the stoneware - This is the reason for my grading this as "good" even though it has not been used.
