Estate collection specimen! Incredibly rare (especially in this quality), fully natural neptunite on natrolite from the famous Dallas Gem Mine in San Benito County, California, USA. This classic American, old stock collector’s piece features lustrous, terminated, black neptunite crystals on a matrix of creamy white (with pale blue undertones from benitoite) natrolite. The raw prismatic neptunite crystals have brilliant luster and great form - making for an excellent example from this defunct locality. The Dallas Gem Mine represents world class quality for Neptunite. An aesthetic, cabinet sized fine mineral display specimen that shows beautifully. Comes mounted in an acrylic display box and measures approx 5.5 by 4 by 2.5cm. Includes the vintage estate ID / locale info tag and labels.
