First edition, signed limited issue of Yannina by James Merrill. This is an out of series copy, signed by the author and marked "hors commerce uii". The edition consisted of 26 paperback copies not for sale lettered A to Z, and 100 copies signed and numbered by the author. This is No. 17 in the Phoenix Book Shop Oblong Octavo Series. Original blue wrappers decorated with gilt fleur de lys stitched over plain card wrappers. Spine of blue wrapper is in good condition. There is a small tear on the bottom left of the cover (See pictures). The pages are all in great condition with no signs of damage.
