Unknown original landscape artwork ink drawing and possibly conte crayon?

Ink and possibly conte crayon medium fine art landscape piece with nice floating glass frame. Signed but signature is not one I can read or find out the artist! Possibly says w.h.Hio? Dated 1992. 16x12 inches. Love the black ink against the fumes of color which vary from fine whisks to a more dense stroke and although it is a minimal splash when looking it gives a depth to the pieces and truly feels like a moving haze that even seems to grow in a way like it's alive a haze of a fire smoldering or a morning light h t just building its way into the colorless dim sky awakening the day. It also feels a bit anxious the open fence and perspective dropping off like you are reaching the top of a hill at a steeper angle and about to face whatever it is beyond that broken or torn fence...
