The small Classic Heartwood Bugarabu Drum 9"x24" can stand alone as a solo hand drum, but really complements any type of hand drum ensemble, with clear, loud tones that work well for low djembe parts, or as quinto in Afro-Cuban.
- SOLID HANDCARVED WOOD SHELL – This wooden drum features a solid, hand-carved wood shell and natural West African cow skin. This 9"x24" is lighter weight and more portable than larger bugarabu, if you need something a little more portable or for use in settings with younger students, this drum will be ideal.
- MEDIUM THICK COW SKIN – Covered with medium thick, wet-shaved cow skin, for comfort and improved sound. The full range of sounds, from deep base to strong tones and high slaps, can be achieved.
- READY TO PLAY RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX - After import from Africa, each musical instrument is cleaned, inspected, tuned, and played individually to check sound and quality.
