Potassium polyacrylamide based. Protects bare root seedlings, shrubs, crops, grasses/sod, and flowers from transplant shock, “dry-out” in shipping/storage, lack of irrigation, drought and more! Maximizes germination, shelf life, vigorous plant growth. Treats 2,000 to 4,000 bare root seedlings per pound of Terra-Sorb in the nursery, 1,500 to 2,000 bare root seedlings per pound in the field. Particles have effective life of up to five years in the soil and absorbency up to 400 times dry weight. Contains no starch. Less susceptible to biodegradation. Require a period of about 20 minutes to reach full absorbency. Particle size ranges from 0.2 mm to 0.8 mm. Sticks to the roots. Recommended for bare root dipping, sodding/seedling, hydromulching. Features a surfactant for preventing gel blocking and provides a more uniform application. Specifications Application: 1 lb. dips 1,500 bare root seedlings in the field, broadcasts 300 sq. ft. of seed or sod bed; 30 to 50 lbs. hydromulches one acre.
