Kimax 28040-100 Borosilicate Glass 100mL, +/- 0.08mL Tolerance, Square Class A Volumetric Flask, with Stopper

This Kimax flask has a square cross-section and a width less than the widest diameter of a usual round flask. Especially designed to take up less area and pack more closely to conserve storage space, they require 25-35% less area than conventional flasks. For example, a shelf 12" x 33.5" will hold only 12 conventional 1000mL round flasks but will hold 30 square flasks. Due to the added glass weight and the square section, these flasks also provide greater stability. Calibrated 'To Contain', there is a blasted on graduation ring and marking spot. A standard taper ground glass stopper is supplied with the flask. Designed from ASTM Specification E288, Class A unserialized requirements. Replacement stopper is 41900R.
