Scotch Solvent Resistant Masking Tape 226 is a black polyethylene film laminated over saturated crepe paper that has excellent resistance against weathering and a wide range of damaging chemicals, solvents, water solutions, emulsions, and paint strippers. The backing also features controlled stretch and tear to provide excellent handling and performance. In conjunction with natural rubber adhesive, this tape offers a fast bond, good holding power, and clean removal. Ideal for industrial painting, it can withstand bake temperatures up to 225 F (107 C) for 30 minutes. Such heat resistance, adhesive strength, and solvent resistance prepare Scotch Solvent Resistant Masking Tape 226 for protecting surfaces across demanding industries.
