Expandable Mandrel by Short Action Customs

The Short Action Customs Expander Mandrel Kit offers versatility, combining features of both carbide standard and decapping expanding mandrels. Each kit includes a Thread Protector and five distinct Pins, enabling compatibility with all Short Action Customs Modular Sizing Dies. The kit's flexibility allows for use as either a decapping or standard mandrel, with replaceable decapping pins available for purchase. Crafted from nitrided 17-4 H1150 Steel for mandrels and 11-44 stress proofed steel for pins, these items may rust over time and are not warrantied for rust or breakage. Assembly guidance is provided for .338 Cal and .20 Cal mandrels. A wrench is required to tighten decapping pins. The kit contains a Modular Expander Mandrel, Thread Protector, Pins 1-5, 3/16 C-Clip, .025 Shims, and is compatible with a 7mm ER11 Collet (not included). A comprehensive Pin Fitment Guide is provided for various calibers, with shims required for some.
