SOLIDLAND refractory castable is a versatile, high-performance refractory castable mix designed for home users and DIY enthusiasts. Think of it as "refractory concrete"—just mix and add water to create a durable, seamless, and heat-resistant lining for your high-temperature projects. It's perfect for casting custom shapes, lining forges, patching cracks in kilns, or building the dome of a new backyard pizza oven. Please Noted:--NOT Applicable for Casting Thinner than 1 Inch Thick;--NOT Applicable for Firebricks Joining;--NOT Applicable for Repairing Cavities Shallower than 1 InchPrinciple of Operation:This castable is a dry blend of special high-alumina cement and heat-resistant aggregates. It works in two stages:First, a hydraulic bond forms when you add water, similar to regular concrete. This allows it to harden at room temperature to a strong, solid block, giving its initial strength.Second, when the material is heated to a high temperature for the first time, it develops a permanent ceramic bond. This "firing" process fuses the aggregates and binders together, giving the castable its ultimate strength and incredible resistance to extreme heat, creating a perfect high-temperature lining.Safety Protection: Wear a mask, goggles, and gloves during mixing and application to avoid skin contact with the material.Storage Conditions: Store the product in a dry, well - ventilated place, avoiding moisture and direct sunlight. Store it between 41°F - 86°F (5°C - 30 °C). Do not use if the packaging is damaged or moist.

  • Designed for: Casting firebricks, panels or special shapes for woodstoves, fireplace hearths and sidewalls and other high temperature applications
  • High Heat Resistance: High-purity alumina (≥65% Al₂O₃) and improved aggregates particle gradation ensures durability in fire pits, forges, and kilns, resisting cracking or spalling under rapid temperature changes
  • Quick Air Hardening: Uniquely incorporates silica fume, reduce water demand, sets rapidly at room temperature (48–72 hours); no heating required. Ready-to-use after curing
  • SOLIDLAND refractory castable can repair carcks firebricks or patch cavities, but vertical applications may require formwork, tape, or temporary bracing to secure the mortar and prevent slumping
  • The aggregate gradation contains 15% coarse particles (0.1–0.2 in/3–5 mm), 15% intermediate particles (0.04–0.1 in/1–3 mm), and 70% fine particles (<0.04 in/<1 mm)
  • Use it to cast forge and furnace linings, build refractory domes, repair wood stove fireboxes, or patch large voids in existing refractory structures. But NOT suitable for brick masonry or repairing cavities/shallower than 1 inch
  • This product comprises two materials blended at 10:0.5 by weight (aggregate∶high-alumina cement). Components are individually packaged in three bags to ensure optimal performance. 25 LBS casts a block 16×10×2 inches. For partial usage, mix all components in this ratio. Mixing equipment is recommended to ensure homogeneity
