- New hot/cold therapy pads included. For cold therapy, simply place the therapy pad in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, remove and insert into the inner built-in pocket and wear the garment for as long as desired. For hot therapy, place the pad in a bowl of water and place the bowl in the microwave oven for 30 seconds. The pad can also provide additional support in the area and may be worn simply as a support pad. You have the option of using the left side by itself or the right side or both.

When a hernia occurs, the contents of the hernia create compression that leads to a feeling of heaviness, pressure, and pain. - Heat therapy is often most beneficial when used for a good amount of time to relieve stiffness and tension. We recommend 15 to 20 minutes of heat therapy. Simply warm the Hot/Cold Therapy pads and insert them into the inner built-in pockets of the brace and wear the garment.
