We chose the steel company "Sandvik" which is a world-leading steel manufacturer in Sweden that makes advanced stainless steel. 14C28N offers a unique balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, durability, and easy sharpening. The 6-inch blade slightly drops to meet a sharp centered tip, this offers excellent piercing when cutting or carving into meats as well as vegetables.
- 🔥OVERBUILT CHEF KNIFE: Off-Grid builds hard use fixed blade knives, we used this mindset when designing the Sierra. The Sierra can handle all the tasks of general cooking, slicing, dicing, chopping, and cutting in the kitchen or campsite. The Sierra can even be used for light camping chores as well. Once you start using the Sierra, we're confident you'll start reaching for it first and leave your inferior kitchen knives behind.
- 🧑🍳TOUGH, ERGONOMIC G10 GRIP: The handle design was built with smooth G10 that will fill your hand with slight palm swell and rounded edges, this grip offers maximum comfort and ease-of-use. We intentionally gave the Sierra plenty of knuckle clearance, perfect for multiple chef cutting styles such as the rock chop, small dice and cross chop. When your cooking calls for detailed chopping, we added a pinch grip design with indentations in the G10 when you choke up.

Excellent security, no movement, no rattle, your blade is safe, secure and ready for your next camping trip or ruling the backyard BBQ. We added the Off-Grid Lo-Pro belt clip for a low hip carry and a thumb ramp for easy one-hand deployment and an over-the-belt Velcro & button lock design.
