- USED FOR TRAINING - Perfect for beginners learning the different movements of weightlifting before advancing to heavier barbells. Max load of 100 lb but once user reaches 60 lb of weight, it is recommended they switch to a standard steel bar.
- LIGHTWEIGHT- 6.8 kg (15 lb) bar weight with 34k PSI tensile strength to ensure beginners start with a bar that suits them. Constructed of aluminum – should only accommodate training with lighter weights.
- ETCHED SLEEVES- Features slightly etched sleeves with fine grooves for better grip on plates during technique training. This ensures an efficient and safe training session for the athlete and coach.
- KNURLED- Has standard knurling with dual knurl-free guide marks to ensure a strong, firm grip on the bar during technique training. No center knurling.
- ADDITIONAL- This bar should not be used during max effort lifts – it should only be used for training purposes for new athletes and children at lighter weight. 28 mm diameter, measuring 72” in total length with 9” of loadable sleeve length on each side.
