Fire Sprinkler Head Spray Paint Booth Bag Kit Bags sold individually. These bags are to be used only on fire sprinklers that are protecting spray areas and mixing rooms in resin application areas. Protective coverings shall be replaced frequently so that heavy deposits of residue do not accumulate. Each Package Includes: (1) Cellophane Bag (0.00165 inch thickness) (2) Rubber Bands How To Install: Install cellophane bag around the fire sprinkler head. (Cut bag if required to fit correctly) Use rubberbands to secure bag around the pipe or fitting. DO NOT rubber band around fan portion of the fire sprinkler head. NFPA13: Sprinklers protecting spray areas and mixing rooms in resin application areas shall be protected against overspray residue so that they will operate in the event of a fire. Sprinklers shall be protected against overspray residue, either by location or covering, so that they will operate quickly in event of fire. Sprinklers shall be permitted to be covered only by cellophane bags having a thickness of 0.08 mm (0.003 in.) or less or by thin paper bags. These coverings shall be replaced frequently so that heavy deposits of residue do not accumulate. Sprinklers that have been painted or coated by overspray or residues shall be replaced with new sprinklers.
