• The 102mm throttle bodies require an aftermarket intake to fit the larger diameter throttle blade. This throttle body has a 4.23" OD, so you'll want to use a 4.25"coupler.
• A throttle body is a butterfly valve located between the air intake filter and the intake manifold. As the gas pedal is pushed down by the driver, the valve opens, allowing air to enter the engine. As more air flows into the engine, it injects more fuel, thus allowing for more power. A properly sized throttle body will provide sufficient airflow and velocity for good engine power and throttle response.
