El Alamein Anniversary Special 1942-2022 Designed at the beginning of World War II, the Crusader was one of the most important British cruiser tanks, achieving a production of over 5,000. Equipped with Christie suspension with large diameter rolling wheels, the Crusader possessed considerable riding skills on rough terrain. The first MK versions. I and MK II were armed with a 2 pdr cannon. later replaced by the more powerful 6 pdr gun. Mk.III version. Without adequate armoring against the opposing firm, he was also very vulnerable to opposing mines and anti-tank guns, and his armament often turned out to be inadequate in front of similar German vehicles. However, when used in a coordinated manner, they managed to achieve good results.
