This Poetry Book is a compilation of Poetry dedicated to life fully lived beachside. A Chalice of time to recover from the penetralia of the workaday world, of day-ins, day-outs, and time speeding by. Time to get up with the waves, lay in the sun, catch some amazing sunsets and to ponder the sea gull that just circled my head. Time to swim, time to ponder jumping in the water, time to write, time to unwind. Many speakers and writers today use their own mode of expression in language. Language’s dynamics are present in email, text and speech. Today’s music, Hip Hop, or other lyrics, consist of words that are combinations of syllables. Similar to the Ode – A lyric poem usually rhymed and in the form of an address, in varied or irregular meter; and/or a poem meant to be sung. This collection of poems are what I term, “Photo poems”, visual/textual expressions of Camera and Pen that become an architectonic of the prescient visual display of the southern tip of Lake Michigan in Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
