Fenton Art Glass created different versions of the songbird figurine over the years, but this "Messenger Bird" for their 95th anniversary is one of their most special!
* Considering their 95th anniversary occurred in the year 2000, I believe that the ‘2006’ next to the number of this item #1036 signifies the quantity that were made! (Not the year) making this very limited and special indeed! (Experts, pls correct me if I’m wrong!)
It features hand painted pink rose and flowers on white milk glass.
‘Glass Messenger exclusive’ very limited edition, Fenton bird. This is #1036. Signed by Nancy Fenton, and also artist Linda Everson. According to the Fenton records, she painted off and on from the late 60s until the late 70s so she must’ve made a special appearance for this special anniversary piece.
