Vintage or Antique Tin Lined Copper Plated Jello, Cake, Jelly, or Aspic Mold with a distinctive tiered design and a squirrel motif on top. The squirrel has a bushy tail and appears to be holding a nut or acorn. Suitable for cakes, quick breads, gelatins, and puddings or for decorative display in French Country, Boho, Cottage, or Farmhouse decor.
Vintage as-found condition with natural patina and surface imperfections, such as the dent in the squirrel's leg, consistent with handmade objects as well as age, use, and storage. It's either copper plated or tin-lined copper, but I'm not sure which. The piece is not magnetic, and there are no maker's marks. About 4 1/4" tall, 8 1/4" wide. Has a brass hook for display on a wall.
