Blue Fish Aubergine Skirt

This is from a boutique that carried Blue Fish in the 80's and 90's. When the customers were turning to more traditional clothing, the remaining items were packed up and carefully stored at home. Owners are relocating from their home and came across this "treasure trove" of Blue Fish. Item has never been worn.This classic form will be a staple in your BF wardrobe. Note the continuous Celtic hem boarder that Blue Fish loves to use. There is a signature patch on the bottom with artist’s signature inside. It is basically a straight skirt but the elastic creates the A-line look. Please note: because it is one of the originals, the elastic is no longer functional and needs to be replaced. It is not a difficult procedure. On the plus side, if a customer wanted the bottom shorter, it is easier to cut along the waist line and put new elastic in. Lots of Blue Fish patterns have artwork near the bottom and you can't really change the hemline. As a retailer, if an individual felt an item was too long,we always suggested to cut across the elastic waist and create a new waistline.
