Mud Pie Tracy S. Flickinger “fleur de lis” French Chef Kitchen Counter Sculpture

This kitchen counter statue of a French chef is dated 1998 and was designed for Mud Pie by artist and illustrator Tracy S. Flickinger. This amazingly kitschy resin-crafted chef stands on a marble base. The detail is remarkable, from the neckerchief to the keys. His outstretched hands originally held a tray, but that has been lost. His hands, however, can hold any kitchen item that fits—recipe cards, wooden spoons, a tray or a small cutting board—or for that matter, flowers or sprigs of herbs. There is paint loss on his right shoe and he needs a good wash (probably too many hours In the kitchen). He’s a hefty guy, weighing in at just over 4-1/2 lbs. The measurements are 15 x 6-5/16” x 6-5/16”.
