Rare Vintage Hand Carved 18" Gourd Folk Art Sculpture w/Glass Inlay, Beads EUC

This listing is for one of the most unique gourd sculptures I've seen. I've searched forever and never found another quite like it. The 18" oblong gourd stands on a wooden base and is supported by wooden rods that are decorated with what looks like wooden buttons. On the front there are three glass or ceramic tiles inset into the gourd on painted squares. It's utterly stunning, creative and unique. This could be a very old piece, but there's no way I can see signs of actual age. My best guestimate is that it is at least from the early 2000s or before. It looks African to me, but it could be from Mexico or South America.
