Vintage 1989 New York Daily News Spelling Bee Champion Coach Jacket. An amazing NYC find! Made in the USA! Size large on the vintage MVP Corp Inc. tag, from Bay Shore, New York, measures about 25" from pit to pit and about 25" down the front. The blue jacket has the Daily News "New York's Hometown Paper" logo on the breast in yellow. The back has the larger "Daily News Spelling Bee '89 Champion" printed across the entire back in the same yellow. The Daily News has been sponsoring the annual New York City event for school children since 1964. The lined button-up has two front pockets and yellow striping around the elastic cuffs, collar, and waist. Minimal wear with a lot of life left, in excellent condition with no rips, stains, or tears.
