hide was a guitarist for X JAPAN (formerly X) from 1987 to 1997, and also began solo activities under the name hide from 1993. In 1996, he established the record label LEMONeD.
After X JAPAN disbanded in 1997, he began activities with hide with Spread Beaver and zilch, but tragically passed away on May 2, 1998. He was a legendary Japanese guitarist and solo artist.
