Vintage RARE MCM 1975 General Electric Clock Radio with BLUE NIXIE TUBES!

Collector’s Alert! Here’s a clock radio that’s hard to find because of lower production numbers. In the 70s, clock radios were almost a necessity at the time and GE wanted to gain ground in that market. It tried many different means of appealing to the American audience, like this 1975 high-end Vintage Clock Radio.

This is the only GE clock radio known to have used blue vacuum fluorescent display tubes, nicknamed “Blue Nixies” because of the fact that they were the next evolution of orange Nixie tubes. Because of the tubes, this clock radios has a heavy solid chassis that measures 11 inches long by 5 inches high and 8 inches deep.
