Antique Late 1800s Victorian Era Sterling Silver Floral Braided Belt Screw Clasp
Beautiful sterling silver belt with four ropes of braided mesh held together by floral detailed stations complemented by a floral clasp!
The clasp is held together with a screw that moves the opposite direction of modern screws (just think: righty loosey, lefty tighty).
Acid tested as sterling silver. Silver acid doesn’t show up well on camera, so I also test with 18k gold acid which turns silver blue. Not stamped.
