Antique 1915 Transfer-ware Calendar Plate of two children carrying a large basket of harvested apples away from the orchard.This is a display plate and not for serving food. The transfer is in amazing condition with only 2 tiny scratches that are minute, but the white plate framing the children also has a few superficial scratches.This plate was from my grandparents time, and I’m retired, but for others, their great-grandparents or great-great grandparent’s time. Photographs show the transfer as being more brilliantly colored than the actual softer picture, by a slight degree.Gold rim has some wear as seen in photographs, and photographs are of the exact plate you are purchasing.No chips or cracks, but has one manufacturer’s flaw- see photo.Smoke free.
