The eggs are glass with the exception of the gold metal egg. This egg does have a dent on the side/back and is marked with an XB. In my research it leads to Russia, but I could be wrong. It's a vintage piece with older fittings. The necklace came in a box marked Bijourterie - Joaillerie Horlogerie Lucien Morel, 16 Rue de Rive Geneve. I'm just not sure if the box is original to the necklace. It is a beautiful necklace. I believe this piece is Costume jewelry.
