For your consideration is this vintage Asian Pewter and Porcelain bowl hand decorated in Hong Kong. The bottom is marked "香港加工" which translates to Xiang Gang Jia Gong or Hong Kong Final Process. Newspaper advertisements for these types of bowl began appearing in 1965 and last mentioned in 1971 (advertisement photo provided in photo gallery). This bowl features a finely etched image of two butterflies and pink and blue chrysanthemum flowers on a yellow background. The piece measures 5.75 inches in diameter x 1.3 inches high and weighs 1 pound 2 ounces. Condition: The pewter does have some abrasions (see photos). No damage to the porcelain is observed. Item has been steam cleaned.
