Gorgeous vintage handpainted porcelain Staffordshire Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog. In 1892, a law was passed that a makers mark had to be on the bottom of pieces. This piece does not have any marks. It's very old and in amazing condition. No chips or cracks, and the paint is bright and intact. There is crazing, but this piece is likely 150+ years old. Height is 10". Creamy white with luster copper accents and yellow eyes. There are 2 firing holes, one on the back of the head and one on the bottom. He is beautiful..
