Vintage Crown Staffordshire Lifelike Porcelain Chaffinch On Branch Hand Painted
The Chaffinch is a small European finch with a cheerful song and this one is ready to fly home to you: just look at that beautiful wing span and intricate detail!
Judging by the mark, this little one could have been made as early as 1906 when the words "Made in England" was added but no later than 1930's when the phrase was reduced to "England".
Despite his age, he (by his markings, he is a male) is in excellent condition: no chips, cracks, or defects of any kind.
Measurements: Height: 3 1/4" from tip of tail to base; Width 2 1/4" from edge of base to wing tip; Depth 2 1/2" from tip of beak to wing tip.
