This piece of fabric has selvages on the short ends, patterned same as the fabric. It is 2 pieces that have been sewn together, and both of the seam allowances have selvages. It has been pressed, but you can see on one of the long sides where the gathers were, some needle holes, and it's slightly darker than the rest of the fabric; so it's been worn and laundered, and the rest of the fabric has lightened just a bit. It wouldn't do for clothing of any sort, but you could certainly get patches for quilting from it. I'm a senior and this piece was in my mother's stash of reclaimed vintage cloth, along with her feedsacks and calicos. I hope someone can get some good use out of it.
