The hinged flip snaps with strength. Never have I held such a marvel. Quality is unmatched to any standard but especially today’s.
It’s one of few Niello Sterling pieces and extremely rare for this impeccable shape. If you held next to most of the Siam Sterling you’d see a huge difference in the back and green. I never knew until I got my hands on the real deal right here !

THE most iconic among the Old Pawn Siam Niello Sterling pieces: the Mekhala Cameo Flip Ring.
They all flip to the elegant Niello silver and black Mekhala (the Goddess of Lightning is clearly also the Goddess of Good Taste).
Some 70 to 80 years later, these have become scarce. Many of the survivors are in pretty rough condition. This one is just pretty, FABULOUSLY pretty.
This piece, because it is marked MADE IN SIAM, was crafted in the 1940s
