This vintage 60s Mid Century Modern enamel casserole Dutch Oven is in very good vintage condition for the age, the outside is nearly new with only one mark shown in photos. Inside shows wear from cooking and minor chips of enamel. But, the display of this item is gorgeous!! This covered casserole has a flat design.
It measures 13 1/2" across handle edge to handle edge.
The other way across the casserole measures 10 1/2".
With the top cover knob of the lid, the height is 4 3/4".
Without the cover knob, the height is 4"
The pattern is Lotus with white leaves on a red/orange enamel background.
The designer of this collectable pattern is Grete Prytz Kittlesen.
This Swedish/norway design would make a great addition to any MCM Pyrex, Fireking, Holt Howard, Cathrineholm, collection.
