After removing the label, I slumped this Fireball bottle in a kiln to nearly 1500 degrees. The process takes 8 hours of heating and at least another 8 hours of cooling to prevent thermal shock. A raffia loop was added for hanging.
A replica of the original label is reapplied to the back of the bottle and two coats of a sealer are applied.
This bottle measures 11.5" long by 5.5" wide. Measurements are approximate as some bottles slump a little differently from others. I select the highest-quality bottles, but please remember there may be minor imperfections and/or some bubbles.
