Vintage Americana Folk Art Brass Weathervane in the form of a rooster perched atop an arrow. Mouth open, tongue, with incised details. Aluminum with original dark green paint. It has a good patina. This is just for the arrow and rooster that would sit on the directional housing. Comes with short metal rod that is greased on upper end. The weathervane spins nicely on this rod and could be attached to a pole or replaced. Very good condition. No breaks, cracks or repairs. Tiny bit loss of paint. Rooster portion measures 7 3/4" T x Arrow 17 3/4" W x 1/2" thick at the rod. Rod is 8 1/4" inserted and 9 1/2" long alone. Total weight 15 oz.
